Time for Some Boise State Broncos

It's that wonderful time of the year again...football season.  Oh how I love it! 

Boise State has moved up from the WAC to the Mountain West Conference.  They have some challenging teams to play this season and I'm so excited to watch each and every game.  

The Broncos opened up the season with a powerful and dominating game against the Georgia Bulldogs last weekend.  Final score: BSU 35, GA 21.   Yay Big Blue!!

My Beloved Boise State Broncos Are Bowl Bound

After an incredible PERFECT season, 13-0, the Boise State Broncos are getting their chance at a much desired and deserved BCS Bowl game. Let me just brag that this isn't the first time BSU has successfully completed a perfect season and it isn't their first bowl game. Our boys will be playing the also undefeated Texas Christian University Horned Frogs in Glendale, AZ on January 4, 2010. Way to go Broncos! Good luck and win or lose we are proud of you!!

Game Day

Today Boise State Broncos play against Miami (Ohio) Redhawks, not to be mistaken for Miami, Florida. We haven't played them before but they don't look tough. I'm sure this will be an easy win. For those of you who live here you already know the stuff I'm about to say...for those of you who have the misfortune NOT to live in our great state of Idaho this may or may not be news to you. Idaho is too small a state, population-wise to be able to support pro teams of any kind. Idaho has a total population of approx 1.5 million people. SO, with that said...Boiseians are true blue fans of the Boise State University football team. We are so proud of our boys in blue and orange and it shows. Days prior to a game we all drive around with our flags blowing in the wind, we wear our BSU gear and Bronco chatter is heard everywhere. Check out their web site for all the details.
